Default Whatcha think of Sonar 8?

I know there's not as many Sonar users here as Cubase but I thought I'd see what people think about 8? Specifically the new transient designer and tube leveler?

I'm noticing a few changes that I"m not super pleased with. The sensitivity on the group slip editing is weird, sometimes I can't get it crop multiple tracks at once. It seems random at times. 7 never did this. There's other little changes that I'll just have to get used to as well but whatever.

Any opinions?

It might be a bug, try reporting it to cakewalk's support and an update in the future may get rid of it.

They always appreciate help and sugestions to make their products better.

I did some sugestions to them in the past they incorporated them on later versions.

Any thing you would like sonar to do just send an email to their support team and they will consider it I am sure.

8 is working fine for me. Seems more stable with Vista than 7 was.

I've never had a problem cropping multiple clips at once.

I haven't gotten a chance to use the transient designer and tube leveler; just lazy I guess.

I can't think of anythng that's irritating me with 8.

Mine works fine.. I was wondering though is it worth it to upgrade to PE? Do the added reverbs and mastering tools and such, make that much of a difference in the sound of a finished product

I'm fairly new to version 8... but so far I have to say that I LOVE Transient Designer on drums - Easy to use, & it does exactly what it says on the tin - lovely sound too!
