Default Uh Hello?

Hello everybody, just getting started recording our band and just dicking around. I am using Mixcraft 3 right now which is easy.. I have tried Sony acid Pro and Cakewalk, but would like to hear what everyone else uses.

Hey, thanks so much for the reply..I think what I need to focus on is more the mic. an the audio/digital interface...A friend told me (which makes sense) that once the signal is 0's and 1's it's all the same
