Default tascam us 1641 with sonar 8

i am new to daw recording and need some help with my sytem. i final have gotten the system to run stable, no drop outs. to do this i updated the driver to asio 4, instead the standard that sonar 8 uses, but now it only recognizes one input from my tascam 1641. is there an option or something else that i need to change or update to correct this. any help would be great.

i am running sonar 8

Default Re: tascam us 1641 with sonar 8

The should be listed as :

Left US-1641 mic in 1 (this is channel 1)
Right US-1641 mic in 1 (this is channel 2)
Stereo US-1641 mic in 1 (this is channel 1 & 2)

If you noticed or this is how it is on mine there are no even numbers listed. The next input reads as mic in 3.........hope this help you....

left is the odd number track and right is the even numbered track....
