Default Sound Replacement In Sonar

Hey I was wondering if anyone out there knew how to do sound replacement. I have Sonar 6 PE, and I was wondering if there was a way to replace the sound, of the drums either with session drummer which comes with the program, or with EZDrummer which is another program that I have purchased. I know there is drumgog or what ever it's called but I really don't feel like buying another bit of software. I just haven't figured out how to employ the plugins. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it

Insert soft Synths > VST plugins > ezdrummer, then whatever it says about all tracks (stereo) to create a multitrack template, so you could edit every mic separately, and the drag n drop midi on the master channel, or jus write it using the piano roll, That's the way im working and it works pretty good, I havent had any issue... hope this helps... btw I think this works for that, session drummer and the other you just said... but I would keep using ezdrummer (I presume you're using some expansions, and if you don't consider it!)

once again, hope this helps

Try this plugin:
Koen Tanghe @ Smartelectronix : KTDrumTrigger

You can basically take say a kick drum recording, gate it and then send it to a drum machine or drum plugin with this program generating the midi triggering for it.
