Default SONAR 8 Irritating Problem

Hi,

I've just clicked on a toolbar for adding audio tracks but all I've managed to do is to put annoying vertical lines on the track view. I've no idea as to the purpose of these lines (perhaps they're referred to as rulers) but they are simply annoying and I've no idea how to remove them. I thought I could just undo what I'd done but there was no way of doing it.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how do I remove them?

Cheers
Nigel

I'm not sure what you mean by verticle lines. there are lines through out the sequencer that shows "bars" in a song. If you can explain in more detail I'll be able to help you

Yeah, hard to tell what you are talking about. Possibly automation curves?

A screenshot might help

Hi,

Yes I know it's hard to figure out what I mean but it's also hard to describe what it is as I've never encountered it before. It's to do with the Time Ruler Format and if you choose M:B:T these vertical lines line up with each measure. I've no idea what they're for but I hope this explains it a little clearer.

The problem occurred when I right clicked on the button on the far left of the toolbars which is there to insert new tracks.

Cheers
Nigel

Right-mouse on the Clips pane of Track View window, select ">>> Clip View Options" then de-select "Display Clip Vertical Rules".
