Are you using this Tascam unit as your sound card? Under options, audio, you can have sonar rescan your audio card. It will then list all available audio. Also make sure you have installed the correct drivers for the tascam. Tascam says that this unit will not work with 64 bit operating systems. Don't know what you're using. Good luck.

yes, i am using the tascam as my soundcard, have the 1.2 driver (i think this is the newest driver) from tascam web site. i am running a windows vista home, i think it is 32 bit. i will try what you suggested and see if that will work, thanks for the help Last edited by soso; 08-10-2009 at 11:25 PM. |

Every driver lists their inputs differently. This is probably the correct way your driver is listing. It is listing the odd numbers because it views the inputs as part of a stereo pair. My delta lists 2 sets of inputs 1-2, and 3-4, however there are 4 physical inputs on the card. Midi inputs are usually different. Are we talking midi or audio here? If audio, go have fun, use the tutorials that came with the program and enjoy. Youtube also has some videos that will help get you started.

Hi! Have you checked how much memory is available to your system? Look in Task Manager under Performance. If you have less memory available, you will get dropouts (very common with softsynths). Hope that helps!
