Default ReWire Acid Pro 5

I am trying to ReWire Acid Pro 5 in Sonar 8. I have followed the instructions, Insert-ReWire Device, and that part is grayed out. Do I first have to add Acid Pro 5 as a ReWire device or change some setting so that it shows up in Sonar. I have ReWired Acid Pro 5 in Sonar 5 about 3 or 4 years ago and don't remember having this much trouble. There is no documentation in the manual that ships with Sonar and I only get the same instructions that I have found online. Is there more knowledge that is to be found? Thanks for your help.

Its supposed to recognize any rewire devices automatically. Liek i said on the other post. Is your sonar running on a 32 or 64 bit machine? If it is maybe the acid pro isn't supposed to run on a higher bitrate format. Or maybe just try updating it.
