Try this out. I've used it a few times, and it seems to work well. Give it a shot.

hey I figured out what I needed.. I found it by searching for lame encoder for audacity.. the .exe and .dll worked great.. only wierd thing is in Vista for some reason it wont play after conversion on Windows Media Player stated something about the ID3 tag .. but if you open the mp3 in Winamp or another ID3 editing player it fixes the problem.. and for anyone else running into these problems you dont have to worry about that if you have XP cause it worked flawless on the xp OS..

Please allow me to vent:

CAKEWALK NEEDS TO INCLUDE THE MP3 ENCODER IN THEIR SONAR PRODUCTS.

PERIOD. IT IS RIDICULUOUS TO HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL 19.99 FOR THE ENCODER WHEN IT IS A NECESSITY FOR AUDIO ENGINEERS TODAY.

Okay, back to my milk and cookies now! I feel better!
