Question Issue with Midi tracks not recording in Sonar 7 PE

Afternoon-

While working on a 35 track project in SONAR 7 PE, the recording capabilities on midi tracks stopped working. I am receiving midi velocity trigger indication, and hearing the VST organ (B4 II) while hitting the keyboard controller, and am able to arm the track for recording and start recording, but the data is just not recording onto the actual midi track.
(nothing is soloed and the track is not muted)

I am able to manually place midi data via mouse in piano roll view and have it play back fine.

I am also able to open a new project and have midi tracks record and play back without issue (via the keyboard controllers)

I did notice on the midi indication bar on the computer main screen that the left red light is on and is solid, and when I hit any midi controller keyboard the right light does not flash while the left red light remains solid.

This seems odd to me. Why would midi tracks all of a sudden stop recording the incoming midi data?

Any ideas/ thoughts that you can share are appreciated.

Regards,
AM

Default Re: Issue with Midi tracks not recording in Sonar 7 PE

I may have figured it out...

there is a red bar/ indicator at the top of the track view, I think it is used for punch in recording.

It was scrunched down into one portion of the tune (first 4 bars). Once I extended it over the entire tune, I was able to record midi tracks.

I still do not have the red midi indication lights responding on the main page, which is still curious to me.
