I'm new....ZERO in recording.
I'm using (line 6) toneport for recording my guitar in the PC and a cakewalk for the software. my problems: 1. why there is always humming while recording the guitar part? 2. what is the meaning of " trimming"? 3. my guitar playing is not very good, sometimes out of tempo. My question is how to delete the certain (the out of tempo part) by not deleting the "good part"..... |

to re-record a section that you messed up without re-recording the whole part.

Yup. No need to re-record the entire track if there is only one bum note.
