 cakewalk sonar 8 and midi problem
I just got Sonar and when i plug in my edirol midi, which worked for ableton live it didnt make any sounds. it showed that i was pressing keys but the sound itself wasnt coming out. is this because my realtek audio manager can only produce 24bit sounds?

Maybe ?? You need to be sure the MIDI is directed to GS Wavetable or whatever you have that makes MIDI sounds. Directing MIDI to the Soundcard won't make any sounds because MIDI isn't sound.
