Why no Mixing category?

we need a forum dedicated to mixing. not posting mixes for critiques, but a place where people can discuss how they go about mixing a song, a record, their session set-ups, where they put the effects, how they group and use busses, etc...also how some do their mastering themselves. i know there's a mastering category but it seems to be more about the big boys rather than how us mere mortals might have to master with no big $.

this is what i'm most interested in right now and i bet many others are as well.

in the meantime, are there any posts you know of that could get me started?

i have a couple screen grabs of a session from my PT classes and would love to post them for feedback.
