Default Nuendo Forum, why not?

I wanted to know why there is not a Nuendo forum at the site,

Isn't it used by many of us?

Just asking!

Ask Brandon and he may start one. You may be interested to know that Chuck Ainlay has been promoting Nuendo.

Go here for more info:

NUENDO USERS??? - Gearslutz.com

We've never discussed engineering idols on this forum, but Chuck Ainlay is one of mine. Chuck Ainlay Audio Recording Producer and Engineer - Bio

Chuck Ainlay: "Nashville has a pretty good base of Nuendo users and there are workshops going on fairly consistently. Digi still leads the race by a landslide which just amazes me. I don't even consider it a problem as it doesn't seem to be too much of an issue anymore. Everyone that brings me something to mix never has any problem with me choosing to use Nuendo. By consolidating files there really isn't an exchange issue either. I just find it easier to work on and think it sounds better but to each his own."

Thanks Tony! I'll give it a check...

I can see than that most of the common Home recording pseudo engeneers do not use Nuendo right?
Why is that?

Thanks!

There are two reason I don't have a Neundo forum.

1) Because very very very few of us who are Steinberg users have any need for the extra post production features of Nuendo. The top Cubase versions are all more than adequate for prime time home recording in 99.99% of all cases and the need for Neundo is therefor limited even if it is the flagship Steinberg product.

2) My category structure for RecordingReview is a complete mess. I'd give it a 1 out of 10. I plan on a total overhaul. Regardless, there is always a balance with having enough categories to satisfy the demand and suffering from the old divide and conquer.

I always avoid creating new forums unless there has been adequate demand for it. This thread is obviously one vote, but we'll see how many Nuendo threads pop up.

Yeah good point. This was true with the AAMS forum. A handful of folks (I was one of them) asked for it. It had some buzz for a couple of weeks then petered out. I don't think the AAMS forum exists anymore.
