Doesn't MOTU have 20 input PCI audio interface?

My Delta 1010s never had any trouble with with 10 i/o via PCI.

Yes, you're right, I'm wrong (no surprise there) 24 inputs on the MOTU.

Playing with this, I found out that it is really the AES Digital Inputs preference that limiited his options, not the PCI connection.

Default Tascam and Adobe Audition 2

Hi guys, I am relatively new to home recording. I have recorded to date 3 songs with my band(hard rock/ metal music) with a Lexicon Omega interface. I changed for a Tascam US-1641 which I just hooked up last night. I use Adobe Audition 2 software. My PC crashed twice while I was mixing one of the songs on file, didn't lose any information, just got a blue screen. Does anyone know if there are any conflicts between the Tascam and Audition 2? My operating system is Windows XP. I have a pentium 4 processor, 3 GB of RAM(am upgrading to 4GB in a week or so). I never had this problem with the Lexicon. I would appreciate any info on this from anyone. Great site, keep up the good work

Smile Re: No Results - Soundcard Wizard

Hey everyone!

Glad to be a new member of this site. Hope to learn some new tricks and get some education in the world computer recording. I've used standalone digital recorders for years and recently purchased a unibody macbook. I've been importing tracks into logic express 8 from a Yamaha aw16g for a few months now and already begun to improve on my mixing chops. Still have a lot to learn when it comes to getting the most out of Logic. Will be looking to pick up an audio interface soon, so i'll be looking forward to hearing everyones input on my best options.

Question Re: No Results - Soundcard Wizard

I noticed in the sound card wizard that the 896HD was listed as having midi.
I've never seen one with midi. Where is it

Exclamation Re: No Results - Soundcard Wizard

I ran the souncard wizard with a configuration that my presonus firestudio 26 i/o provides me and a "no results" message appears, maybe it's not in the interface list of this database, i was lookin for a better option who gather all the good caracteristics (multiple monitor mixes and routing of all the in/out signals, adat, aes/ebu I/O, etc ) with a improovement in pre and/or converters quality.
Any sugestion?
PS: my english is as good as my mixes ... i hope the message may be understood
THX

OK the EMU-1616 M if you have a laptop with a PCMCIA no ( Express Card ) Also the 1820 M more inputs for a desk top pc.
The MOTU-Ultra Lite MK3 MOTU.com - UltraLite-mk3 Overview is also a nice choice.
Hope this helps someone.
Peace & blessings.

I suspect S/PDIF was on the list. Unless a new audio interface has came out, there are none available with S/PDIF, ADAT, and aes/ebu.
