Default More precise Sound card wizard

Hi.i was just trying this sound card wizard and its a really cool idea.
However i think some more things should be included-GSIF 2 compatibility, price range and rack mount/desk/all internal card.
This would help one choose a better card. (no i'm not looking for one )

Just my opinion

Default Re: More precise Sound card wizard

How many people require GSIF compatibility? I didn't even know what that was to be honest. I looked it up. I see it's a protocol for Tascam Gigastudio. I assume this is a method for hooking up a farm of computer samplers.

The only problem with making the Soundcard Wizard more "precise" is it also makes it more complicated. Quite a few people use the Wizard who have absolutely no idea what a preamp is.

I think if I added traits like "rackmount/desk/all internal" to the Wizard, I would cross the point of diminishing return. The premise behind the wizard is simple: Please list all the audio interfaces that meet my core requirements. That's it.

From there, the price is easily sortable. Then a person may still have to go through to see what they want, but at least the list has been knocked down considerably.

With softare and scripting, you could spend your entire life tweaking and perfecting a script, but to what benefit?

I actually do want to expand the Wizard to accomodate Chipsets this year. I'm not sure if that will work out,but it would be nice.
