Okay, I am so new, I dont know what to ask. I recently purchased Sonar 7 for a dell desktop. I was thinking doing my own recording would be cheaper than going to a professional studio however I am finding this project a little frustrating. First of all how I do I transfer music projects I have already recorded on a Tascam 8 channel recorder to the computer so I dont have to re-record everything or do I have to re-record everything. Will editing the music be difficult if I do it this way? Help!!!

Red face Re: How Do I Use The Forums?

Hi there ,I am NEW in the recording industry. I have a Samick SMP 900 powered mixer. It is connected to my computer like this; Red and black cables from recout to line in of my sound card and my first two is sliders that I open for my speakers of my P A system. I have also red and black cables in at my first two channels at phono. I try to record but if I open the microphone then there is no sound. is ther any more cables that need to beconnected? My music from the computer plays nice. the only problem is that I dont have sound on my microphone. Please help.
I am also looking for a nice free program where i can change my voice for recordings. I cannot pay by credit card cause I am to afraid to do the internet thing. And then I am looking for the serial no of Sound Forge9.
I am new in this Industry but I enjoy it.
Thanx for Help.
I stay in South Africa.

Nobody here is interested in helping you steal software.
