Here's a random idea for adding another dimension to the site:
Is it possible to chat with people who are currently logged in and viewing the forum? Maybe that defeats the purpose of a forum, but all the content from the chat could be stored in the forum. Or, there could be a weekly or monthly live chat on various topics with the senior members moderating. I've never actually seen something like that online though I'm sure it's out there.
