Bash this Recording ...anonymously

I think when you make a post in Bash This Recording, a good idea would be to include a poll in which people can rate the song anonymously, maybe from 1-10 etc.

That way people don't have their feelings get in the way of giving a review, and also they can quantify just how good the song is or is not.

I think when people post their songs on here they want an honest opinion. I happen to get a little miffed if someone tells me "I don't hear anything wrong with this" OH come on! Read the Forum Name! I will give you my honest opinion! Thats what we are supposed to do! If you don't like critisizm... don't post your song you are so proud of! If you truly do like the song jsut say I think it sounds pretty good or whatever. There are plenty of other people who will bash it! Remember you can take it or leave it...

Maybe your song deserves a 2, but no one will tell you since that would be mean.

actually youre exactly right. The other day someone made a poll for their own song and im pretty sure it was anonymous.

I really detest ratings systems---esp. when people usually end up rating their own anonymously.

The Bash the Recording is brilliant in my book---other forums I've seen have been a lot of back-patting, but not much else. Even if you don't agree, it's something to think about---you really want to get other people's input. And if I'm going to open my mouth, I should be able to stand by it---no need to be anonymous unless you're out to be vindictive....which no one is, right? I'd hope?

Hey guys! HELLO! you can already ask to be rated on here I have done it I know. I was able to rate the post myself but only once like everyone else. It is on this site already and can be used any time you post anything! It goes away after a certain amount of time though. Check out the link below...
