 Where's Brandon??
These threads tend to pop up when I'm not around for a while so I figured I'd go ahead and let everyone know what I'm up to. Lately the forum has grown tremendously. This is exciting news! However, my policy of responding to 99% of the threads has grown into a 30 hour per week job. When you combine this with running a studio and sleeping it's easy to see that I have little time left for my home recording book. I've been working on this stupid home recording book in my free time for the past 13 months. Sometimes, I may only get 30 minutes in a week to work on it. On slow recording weeks, I may be put 30 hours into it. I've decided that I MUST get this book finished not only for my own financial well-being but also because there are simply too many people who could benefit from it. Way too many people are making big mistakes with their gear selection and audio engineering and I'd prefer to save them about 3 years of trial and error right off the bat. I'll pop in from time to time when I need a break from other stuff, but my goal is to wrap up this book, launch it, and start promoting it by December 1rst. Hopefully, the forum can make it without me for a few weeks.  Brandon

Brandon, I'll buy your book. Read it cover to cover. You can never ever know too much. Knowledge is the answer. And how do we gain knowledge.... through the mistakes we, as well as others, make. I'm looking forward to it. Justin |
