Actually, I did some thinking and I don't think it would be too difficult to make the contest anonymous. It should be a simple template change that I could do in a reasonable amount of time.

I like the idea of a person only getting one shot on the mix as well.

I was thinking if it might also be a good idea to ’hide’ the entries till its time to vote; this way you won’t be able to download/listen to the competitors entries and compare yor own mix with them? I know I do that (and I assume I am not the only one...), I think (in combination with one entry per person and being anonymous) this makes things even more fair...

And sure, I personally would like to get all the tracks (instead of just a stereo file); but then it would be a more general Mixing contest; opposed to being a mere DRUM mixing contest. I agree with Metaltyme that its much more fun to do everything, but as I said, when the focus of the contest is purely on drums, I guess it would be fairer (and easier to judge) to use a stereo file of the rest...

Being these are Toontrack products, a person could easily just leave the tracks "as is" and probably come out with something totally usable. So, maybe a full blown mixing contest is the way to go.
