Solved: Recording Review Virus Trouble

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to give a quick update.

It appears that when my personal virus was hit with Smartest Virus Ever I had underestimated my opponent.

It appears my web files stored on my local hard drive all had a little piece of code that would download a virus added to them without my knowing if I happened to upload these pages. Pretty snazzy on their part!

Only the pages I had edited and uploaded actually made it to the site. The forum never got hit, but a few pages away from the forum did.

To my knowledge the site is entirely clean now. So if anyone has any trouble let me know.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to run an anti-virus scan of some kind. For that I apologize! I wouldn't in a million years ever suspect they'd make such a virus.

That is one nasty virus. anyway, this is the info avg shows me when i click on why is this site blocked

It sucks that I fixed this 14 hours ago and yet Google hasn't bothered to rescan RecordingReview. The site is ENTIRELY safe. There were three bad pages and all of those have been dealt with.

Oh well. I hope this doesn't cost me serious cash!

I have been getting a ton of mal ware messeges with increasing frequency over the last few weeks. Today for about an hour it was saying that recording review was transmitting mal ware. Just wondering if it is my computer or the site.

I am not sure how old this thread is but I have been having warnings. As of 20 min ago 9:10 mountain time sept 18/2010
