Hello dudes/chicks,
I'm pumped to announce that the Slate Digital Cup will begin March 1, 2012.
The Slate Digital Cup is a series of 12 monthly mixing contests where points accumulate throughout the year based on your rank in each individual contest, your participation, how much you help others, and the quality of that help.
Grand Prize winner gets: Slate digital products for life.
The monthly winner of each contest receives: Your choice of any single Slate Digital Product.
I'll keep you guys updated.

Slate Digital Plugins for Life
Slate Digital already produces the finest, precedent setting plugins for drum composition and replacement, virtual analog summing, mastering processing, and the new, most authentic tape machine plugin ever created, the Virtual Tape Machine.
There are many more surprises to come from Slate Digital over the course of Recording Review's contest.
By the time this contest ends in one year Slate Digital will have a comprehensive suite of no-compromise mixing and mastering plugins. A "Grand Prize" indeed.

That doesn't factor in SSD4 (which based on the video is a revolution).Great prize! Even just the monthly prizes are great (VCC & FG-X are $$$$)
I really wanted to work with Slate because every single thing they've made that I've touched has been top notch.
The things they have coming down the pipeline are very exciting indeed.

O-oh!Very cool on the Slate, but what's this about there being "chicks" here?![]()
I expect this contest will really improve a lot of our mixing abilities here. That is a smokin prize, I know I will be doing whatever I can. Nothing like a carrot on a string to help you focus.
