Alright dudes, a few "rules". I didn't make them up. The damn t-shirt companies did with their pricing.

First, we've got to keep this thing down to a minimum of colors. So Quarry, your deal is really awesome (especially the funny looking foot) but it wouldn't fly in t-shirt land with my budget. I'm stuck with stick figure style animation, which maybe is a blessing.

Second, I would prefer to keep it to a one sided design because it costs WAY less.

The thought sprang to mind to leave them EXACTLY like this. I mean leaving the labels on "monster foot" and "smashed recording studio buiding" and everything. A part of me REALLY likes this idea. It's the part of me that makes me scream "cunt" too loud in an area that was more public than I realized. It's a part of me that that causes me to have a headache the next day.

Hmmmm.

While we are at it, here is another, less over the top idea.

Oh...and in regard to our favorite monk-invented beverage of choice, here's a pic from 4th of July where gravity and I got reaquainted.

That is AWESOME! lol, I had to take a minute to chuckle at your pic. I think that you should use the stick figure graphics as is, I think they're tight. I thought the sesame street thing I made was fu**ing hillarious though....

BTW I had a "reaquanting" with gravity my self on the 4th. fortunately no-pic's LOL..

I never thought about smashing the cd. Interesting. I'm way more interested in killing people, I guess. That's not a bad concept. I just need to add a little bit of "ridiculousness" to it so that it fits my character a bit.

If your gunna put 'BASH THIS' on a tee-shirt you might need a new forum topic:
KUNG FU For skinny pale recording engineers!
still I'd still buy one.
Cheers

It sounds like you are considering footing the costs for printing t-shirts (hence your desire to keep down colors, number of sides, etc. etc.)

Have you considered using something like cafepress.com which will cost you NOTHING, and the designs can be a lot more complex?

I have been using them for years with all of my band projects, and while the price of a single t-shirt might be a bit higher than if you had then silkscreened at a print shop, you'll have no out of pocket expenses.

Plus they handle all the messy stuff.. credit cards, shipping, returns, etc. etc.

so just something to think about.

Damn..so I guess sparkle paint is out of the question then?
Ok then, some of my fave t-shirts are the ones that have the graphics in weird spots. like on the sleeve or side or something.
Maybe you could get some 80's style metal shirts made, you know the ones with the 3/4 sleaves.
Personally I like those t's with the colored sleeve and neck band, 70's style?
You should talk to some of the D.I.Y. punk bands in your town and maybe barter some studio time for screen printing.
