I think that there is still a big difference between engineer/producer and a computer guy so there'll be need for tech support for PCs, Mac or Linux for a few years to go. I am surprised noone has done full workstation compatibility on a computer. What I mean is an OS that all that it does is record and master and interface, with all the other extras thrown out. I think there'll be a huge market for that, like the old ADAT decks or Radar workstations. |
