Robby is an awesome musician here where I am from. Last Friday Night he was riding his Motorcycle on a small highway and some Lawers Daughter clipped him from behind. We used to record songs on a Yamaha 4 Track about 20 years ago. He was like a brother to me. I kept meaning to get those old recordings and do something with them but, it may be too late as he is brain dead in the local hospital. Another brother of ours just died about 5 months ago in a car accident. he was a hell of a singer and songwriter too. Robby was trying to get Johns songs copyrighted for Johns wife and now Robby is probably not going to live. Or so say the doctors. he is laying in intensive care his body is being kept alive by machines. Anyways Somewhere in all of this is a great song. I need to write it and hopefully get it copyrighted before I die too. I would ask you all to pray or something but it may be best he doesn't live. I guess we should just pray that whatever is best for Robby happens. I want you all to know he came to me in my sleep the other night and said he is having a blast. He said "You know I always loved the astro plane but this time I am not coming back" So I think they are keeping an empty shell alive at that hospital. He also said to tell everyone he is doing great! I just want to say hats off to the greatest musician I have ever had the opportunity to Jamb with...... Salute!

It sounds like you are going through some rough times. Hang in there.

While it never balances out, maybe somehow something good can come from this like a great song or just appreciating the time we have left on Earth a little bit more.

PS. I'm never good in situations where I can't be a sarcastic prick. This is obviously one of those.

I'm still pretty new to this forum and I see that this thread is already a week or two old (I've been on tour for most of the last month), but after I read this I just felt like I also wanted to say I'll be thinking of you, your friend and his family. It is a terrible thing that happened. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

My sympathies to you, Your dear friend, and his family. Seems to me like you thought of them as part of your family. They all including you will be in our prayers here in oregon.
