Do gigs and save the money. Write while you're waiting for it all to accumulate.

Money?for Recording?Unless you have a contract with a label/Studio recording should
cost you the price of some hardware(which usually comes with software),& your own
production skills & discipline. You can dispense with a group which won't even turn up
for practices or contribute constructively.A good weekend pursuit & you write your own,
roll your own & smoke your own.Home Productions &Recording.

I caught this outfit while they were in some kind of promotional mode and basically got 50 dollars worth of free credits. they were mp3fiesta.com. Since then they have dropped the promotions and went commercial. They are at mp3panda.com
They have a pretty impressive library and the songs cost about .20 apiece.
The catch is you now have to invest a chunck... I think the lowest purchase is 25 dollars. But you can just download whenever you feel like it.. the account just keeps your balance open forever..

anyway if you can splurge one time.. and dont mind mp3's you can get albums for about 2 bucks

Im guessing I may have misunderstood the OP.. if your talking about money for recording a new album... then thats a whole different ballgame.
