 U2's No Line on the Horizon, Diamond's Home After Dark, Springsteen's Working...
just listened to the new U2, Neil Diamond, Bruce Springsteen. As i await for the U2 bashers to come in, i shall just say one thing: the mid-old timers still deliver. producers, daniel lanois, steve lillywhite, brian eno, work very well with U2 it seems. Neil Diamond: powerful songs/lyrics. absolutely head over heels in love with the acoustic vibe of the album. Bruce Springsteen: still has the fire. honest, experienced, songwriting and inspiring. Don't know about Neil Diamond or Bruce, but U2 and their production team has never let me down. The soundscapes that Eno works into their music and just their writing puts them in that rare category where I know I'm going to like the album before I hear it. (Pink Floyd was always like that)
