this isn't a new album, but I got Sandinista! by the Clash over the weekend, and it has become one of my favorite albums. Great variety, political message, and energy throughout. The snippet of a seven year old girl singing "Guns of Brixton" at the end of "Broadway" is slightly creepy. And singing on "Hitsville UK" is Ellen Foley, also known as the hot date in Meat Loaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light."
Favorite tracks: "Police on My Back" "Junco Partner" "Washington Bullets" -Tyler |
