Default Judas Priest Electric Eye

i watched Priest Live for the umpteenth time.

1986 (i think) still looked horrible.

the stage looked awesome.

Halford still has that high pitch screams.

KK Downing, Glen Tipton, well, any metalheads would appreciate that twin guitar attack. for me its the first time, i actually hear a guitar-synth seemlessly work in a rock/metal band context.

Along with Live After Death and World Wide Live, i think they set the standard for live video/concert rock/metal performances and recording.

anyone care to disagree?

Irawan, check out Iron Maiden's "Live After Death".

That has some killer stuff on it.

hahah which one? the old VHS tape or the new DVD or double cassette, the reissued shorter CD version (they cut the sing a long part on Running Free).

got that concert memorised in my head. from harris' stripey lycra pants to my guitar idol, adrian smith's black and white jackson and not to forget the bandana.

i am so pissed with myself that i didnt manage to catch Iron Maiden on their last world tour due to work commitments.

Haha sweet. Glad you know about that as well.

My brother and I used to come home from school and blast it on the record player until our dad got home from work.
