Default Iron and Wine - The Shepard's Dog

I have been listening to this album pretty steadily for the last few months. It is one of the few albums I've owned that I MUST listen to ENTIRELY from beginning to end. I cannot skip tracks. Iron & Wine's usual sound is very stripped down, sometimes down to just acoustic guitar and vocals. This album is a little more complex, a little progressive, and has a lot more instruments in it. The lyrics, though very biblical, flow very naturally and create a lot of visuals as you listen to them. Though I can't really find a song on this album I don't like, my most recommended tracks are "Boy with a Coin", "House by the Sea", and "Innocent Bones". Definitely an album worth giving serious listen to.

I love Iron & Wine! He has never disappointed me. If you haven't yet, check out the I'm Not There OST because he covered a few Bob Dylan songs on that one.

Yeah my friend turned me on to them. I enjoy it but I've only have Our endless Numbered Days. And its a good album I just have to be in a certain mood to listen to them.
