David Gilmour's "Remember That Night" DVD. Ex Yes alum really hit a home run with this one. 7 songs (one instrumental) that really satisfies. The man is a guitar and bass virtuoso. Songs of hope and man's search for meaning. He uses several Kubeci basses and really wrings some unique sounds out of them. As for Gilmour, what more can you say? 2+ hours of new "On An Island" music and classic Floyd. The man has such a diverse catalog.......it's cool to watch him play a solo sax song..."Red Sky At Night". He taught himself to play and does a masterful job. "Fat Old Sun" NEVER sounded better! I highly recommend them both. |
