Hi, im semi-new to cubase le 4, i bought the imulti mix 8 alesis mixer, that came with cubase LE4 i love it, but im wondering, when i record drums, how can i seperate tracks? for example, right now im recording drums on one track in cubase, im mixking the kick and snare and toms on the mixer then recording it onto cubase. so after i have the drums recorded on one track, when i EQ, itll eq the whole drum mix, and not the kick or snare. how can i make it so that i can record kick on one track and snare on another track and soon and so forth. the alesis mxer sais right on there, firewire, so how can i do this?? thanks for your time. |

I went here and they make ZERO mention of the number of simultaneous tracks you can record. iMultiMix 8 USB It appears this unit is USB and not USB 2.0 so that means it's limited to 2 simultaneous tracks or recording. Brandon |
