I know I'm probably going to get ripped on for asking this, but what is the "Rep Power" and how is it determined?

At first I thought it was based on simply the number of posts, but it appears that's not the case.

I'm sure all the forum-friendly people are "gafawing" right now, but I've been curious for a while and finally had to ask. (jeez, I'm starting to feel like my dad trying to figure out e-mail).

Actually, I've wondered the same thing. I've never really looked into it. Since I'm starting another forum with the same forum software (vBulletin) I should probably take a minute and learn what it really means.

I should probably come up with a mod that makes this a little more obvious. When I started this forum, I had different software. I had a very obvious "thank you" or "go to hell".

When I made the switch, I never thought about highlighting this feature, but maybe I should look into it.

The way I see it. All questions on this site are stupid. Smart people build stronger bridges or transplant kidneys. Retards spend their life finding more expensive pots and pans to beat on.

If I have a real answer for a question, it's probably a stupid question!
