Default Phantom Power Confusion!?

Hello,
I have a Tascam DP-02CF and i wanted to get more simultaneous Inputs, so I Bought a Yamaha MG-102C analog Mixer. Both have Phantom Power But i dont know which one to use for my Condenser Mic. I connected the Mixer using a *RCA TO PLUG* Rca (REC OUT) to my Tascam PLUG (Input A) so if i send Phantom power to a Plug input is there a problem? I understand its a very specific question and i hope to get a solid answer. Thank you

Whichever board you have your mic directly plugged into is the board that should have P-power turned on
