Hi to everyone here i am new to recording. i found this forum and it looks like a lot of good info here. whether or not i can retain it all is another story haha

Me too! I read a little about recording from other sources, but then I encountered this site and there seems to be so many pieces of software to use! I am fairly knowledgeable about CDs and DVDs, and I hope to place my recordings on them - I think it's a great way to spread the word.
