Red face need to converting WMA files to uncompressed WAV

I've been instructed I need to convert WMA files to "uncompressed WAV" to have someone help me process them further. I googled "convert WMA to WAV" and see a multitude of little s/w programs out there. I already went thru this exercise and downloaded several tools to convert the WMA to MP3 last week (I'm just starting to record some audio). Before I start blindly downloading programs, is there any recommended s/w that a member can recommend to me (preferably easy to use and relatively inexpensive).

Thanks and best regards,
IKE77

Hmm. I've never had to make that conversion. I know you were hoping to save time, but I'm not sure I know of any. If you get into a pinch, I'd bet that Audacity would let you import wma files and then render them down as wav files.

Let me know if you get this one figured out.

Thanks Brandon. I downloaded a program called ALO audio center that seems to do the trick. There are many many WAV PCM formats to choose from in the pull down menu, but after I get that choice sorted out, I should be able to get uncompressed WAV files. I did convert a few experimental files we'd made with different recording modes, to also check my digital voice recorder and a conference mike we have, and we will check them out with the audio person in my group, who will be processing them prior to burning CD's.

Best regards and happy holidays!
