Default Just getting started

Hello,

Just getting started in the recording world. Thinking about the Digidesign Pro Tools Le set up, but I'm still browsing and reading. They have a setup where you can get an 8 Channel mixer to do more hands on mixing and get out of the video world here and there, but I don't know if it's worth it. My goal is to learn a felixible system quickly and start recording. With all the choices, it is a bit overwhelmng...but I'm excited to get going........regards to all....

Welcome.

I've been using ProTools LE with the 003 rack for about 9 months now, if you have any questions maybe I can help out. This site has some great info and some great people that give some good advice. Cya around the forums.

This isn't really a mixer. It's a control surface. It does give you the faders, but they are often very expensive. I've been recording for 6 years now and I still have a mouse. I'd love to have a control surface, but I don't think it's in my top 20 list of things I need.
