G'day, I'm JD. I stumbled across this forum searching for some midi sequencing answers. Gotta say to Brandon....thanks a bunch for the 'getting started with midi' thing you wrote. You made my day mate.

I'm a home recording dabbler. I use two Roland VS2480's and have always recorded real drums. But, things have changed and I don't have my kit anymore. I've been programming on a boss DR670, but the sounds stink and it takes a few years just to sequence a song.

Hoping I can get some more advice on the midi realm and hopefully yack with a few crew who are using EZ Drummer. I'm looking to buy a midi set up to use
DFH and the Vintage expansion. anyways, I'll post a question in the right spot.

I couldn't imagine doing sequencing in a standalone unit. I love sequencing in Cubase SX3.
