Question Hi, Is Lexicon Omega compatible w/ Vista?

Hi,

Hope I'm using/entering this system correctly. Hi from "will2wild" in Lubbock, TX -- home of this year's 3rd place in world champion Little League-ers.

More about me, later (maybe). My home-recording experience, what little of it, stems mainly from N-track and a small pre-amp sound board. I'm just a 60 y-o knothead (albeit, w/ a Masters to do clinical therapy) who (mostly) sings and writes (traditional) "kuntry" (but grew up on Elvis and have been known to do a fair imitation).

I'll cut to the chase, now -- can anyone tell me whether or not Lexicon Omega interface w/ Cubase software is compatible with (my new computer's) Vista OS? OR where do I go to find out? (when to get off, how long to stay, etc. )

Thanks!!!

Default Re: Hi, Is Lexicon Omega compatible w/ Vista?

If you are planning purchase now then yes, the Omega has Vista drivers and is sold with Cubase LE4 for Vista. If you are considering a used Omega, then yes, the vista drivers are available at the Lexicionpro website, but the problem will be getting Vista compatible Cubase somewhere. I had problems with Cubase LE and SE in Vista. Omega support said they would put me on a "list" when Cubase LE4 became available but I never heard back from them. ( I sort of doubted they would offer an LE upgrade but that's what they said). I went back to XP andnever followed up on it. Good Luck, Dave
