I've posted a few things in some other forums but I figure it's never too late to introduce yourself.

My name is Brandon, I'm 18, and I'm soon to be a student at Appalachian State University. I'm a guitarist of four years and I've been writing music for two or three years. I started recording seven or eight months ago, when my basic setup was suspending a Rock Band mic in front of my guitar amp and recording with Audacity. I'm an amateur at recording, mixing, and general production and mastering, but I'm willing to learn because I enjoy it immensely, and I'm starting to wonder if this could be not just a hobby but a career choice for me.

At this point in time I've recorded 11 original songs for a demo CD for my band, which is currently just me. I use VSTis like EZdrummer and SI Bass because I can't play drums and I don't have a bass, and I tab out all the parts of the song in Guitar Pro before I start recording. And now I feel like I'm rambling, so I think I'll go. See you guys 'round the forum.
