Welcome to the forum! I'm not sure if it's "cool" or "hip", but we are definitely friendly around here. I like to save my anger for the IRS and certain political views. We try to keep this recording junk the way it should be.... FUN!

Don't be shy about posting!

Well thank you for the **** welcome. Normally I jump in and start talking smack but I must say that I've spent over an hour reading your blog, articles and listened to your recordings on your studio website and I'm most impressed.

It's very cool and impressive what you've done here and I'm finding a bunch of answers to questions I've had without having to chase them down throw spaghetti threads and inane answers. Kudos on that. A lot of times I show up at sites and end up feeling like the "dear Abby" person that has to explain how to get the "sound" into a pc, etc.

Hey- I'm a regular member of http://redfizz.com/ where I critique music from indie artists and would encourage everyone to submit some songs. It is a Very interactive fun and humorous site as well.

Cheers. I'll speak up soon as well but thanks again for the free advice Brandon. Cheers.

There is a bunch of info on this dump, but I really haven't figured out how to organize it properly. That's the big reason I decided to start work on my home recording book. (That and $$$) ha ha.

I'll check out your site.

right on, and glad you're active, I don't want to come off as a sycophant but I promise I'll buy a copy of your book. It is a compelling read through the forums and I hope you include the diaries from the recording bootcamp. I am all to familliar with the mis quotes, mis-advice and the semi macho need to have brands, gear and certain techniques especially from some sites and articles, etc around the web. You stand out as having the cajones to say the truth.

As far as redfizz, I'm known there as unklespaz (LOL) and I hope you read, submit and critique a few tunes. I think it could be a great cross promotion as there's lots of people that have tunes, and demos and are in need of advice and help or at the very least it's a live forum where you can listen to the work and then discuss the tunes.

Cheers Brandon, and thanks for the **** welcome. I'm most impressed with the articles and the **** welcome.
