I just came across this forum as I was trying to get additional information on the capabilities of Cubase LE; the forum looks like it has a lot to offer (help for us newbies

), so I joined immediately.
I'm strictly a no talent, home operation, but trying to make music seems like its been a life long endevor. I've been through the reel to reel and cassette phases, and now it appears I am entering the digital age (thanks to a big push from my youngest brother).
Last year I put together a CD (of our efforts) using analog to digital conversion and editing that was meant for converting vinyl albums to digital. Now I would like to try it with appropriate (yet hopefully affordable) hardware and software. To that end, I could use some help. In that regard, if anyone has an opinion or suggestions regarding the Presonus Firebox or Inspire, Cubase LE or Presonus StudioOne Artist software, I would like to hear what you have to say. Thank you.
