Getting tired of the nagging about not posting, so here it is. Been looking around a bit, and seems like this place might fit me better than some of the others I've been participating in. I've been home recording for a couple years - but I'm not very productive. I get a song tracked, and then I spend months goofing with it trying to get it to sound "pro", and never quite achieving that.

I keep telling myself that... The problem comes, I think, from not seeing the recordings for what they are - a recording of a single performance of the song, but instead, seeing them as a piece of work that will never be repeated - like a novel or something.
