Hello from Fresno Ca

It's refreshing to read through forums and detect a significant level of maturity. I found this forum while I was having difficulty with my interface drivers. I was so frustrated. My brother is a IT tech major and works for the military for crying out loud and he could get it to work. We ended up restoring to an earlier point and it's working so I pray before turning things on.
I bought a Phonic helix board 18 firewire that came with Cubase LE and really haven't done much with it until now.
I have 5 new guitar (rhythm) tracks with drums and bass from a machine. I've got my brother coming this weekend to lay down drums (digital) as well as another friend playing guitar and I play bass.
So here I am doing multi-track recording and don't know squat.
Anyway, a bit long winded but I'm glad I'm here. I hope to share some music with you soon. Any feed back on the mixer/recorder (it's kind of amazing that I hooked it up and recorded anything with what little I know).
I'm in the market for a good set of studio monitors, I'm still using stock computer speakers.
