Hello everyone,
I kinda jumped right in here before I took the time to say hello so I'm sorry for that. I'm Danny and I live in New Jersey, have been a signed artist since 1999 have done some touring and am totally into the whole production/mixing mastering field. I've been doing it for a very long time and have some pretty good tips and techniques to share with you as well as learn from you if you'll allow me too.
I'm sometimes strongly opinionated with things, but only because I have really had a chance to live life in many different ways and see the good, the bad and the fantastic within the music business. You learn what works, what doesn't and you try to accept people for who and what they are as well as how they present themselves while not allowing "hype" or "stature" play a role in forcing your opinion. Unfortunately, there are people that like to have a voice for the sake of a voice at times and I find that extremely annoying, so I can come off a bit confrontational. I don't mean to come off that way, but there are people that sometimes just have an answer for everything that haven't lived much of their lives in the music trenches. This of course doesn't give me any more credibility than anyone else, but I have key friends in the industry that some consider stars. So I've had a chance to learn from and talk with some of the best at great lengths, not just in passing. I have no problems sharing that info with others because I sincerely believe there are no secrets. We're all here on this earth together...strength in numbers, we need to make the best of it.
I've been helping various web sites out for many years and always go above and beyond the call of duty to help people the best of my ability. I love meeting new people, hanging with them on boards, email, or even in real life if given the chance. For the most part these days I do loads of mastering, am currently producing a band signed to a major label (which will be announced at some point) and do specialty recording for certain individuals when need be.
I'm a guitarist first and foremost, but started out on drums and then picked up guitar, bass, piano and then later on trumpet and other instruments so I'm fairly well schooled at getting good tones from those instruments even if my performance may not be all that.

I don't feel I'm very proficient at any instrument, but God pretty much hooked me up with enough ability to get my song ideas out of my head to where they were decent enough for me to land 3 record deals. I'm now the lead singer/lead/rhythm guitarist in my own band. I'm no big star or anything, but have enjoyed an awesome musical ride doing 80's rock/metal where it's accepted in Europe, Japan and a few places in Canada and the USA.
My style is along the lines of commerical rock ( I get told 80's all the time...I am what I am) with hooks and guitar solos that I try to keep as icing on the cake and not lose common folks with excessive tech. There are a few youtube videos (MAJICHANDS is my nic on youtube) with me doing some solo work with the great players from guitarwar.com at our annual meetups every year as well as one with me doing an instrumental on my own.
I also do video tutorial lessons for people on my site featuring mixing and mastering. People would like to see how to make their song sound good, so I fire up their mix and show them all the things we need to do to fix it and make all the stuff work. It's like having a one on one tutor right on your pc screen. I've done very well with that so far and it has exceeded what I thought it would be. So if anyone ever needs anything like that, I'll do my best to help you out without breaking your bank.
I really look forward to being a contributing member on this site and hope I can help some people get to where they need to be in this field. If I don't have the answers, I have some really good friends you guys would know that are just a phone call or an email away. I posted in a thread here that I just had the pleasure of doing an interview with Beau Hill (80's famed producer that did Ratt, Warrant, Winger, Dweezil Zappa, Alice Cooper and Europe) a few weeks back. I will gladly share the intereview here with you guys if you're interested in it. I also have good ties with quite a few other important people...so we have a nice array to draw from if need be.

Thanks for the opportunity to be here and I look forward to meeting and talking to you all. If there's anything I can do for you or you have any specific questions, feel free to call on me.
I'm very well versed in producing, engineering, music law, publishing, copyrights, writing, performing, mastering, guitar rig building, gear advice...you get the idea. Hope to talk to you soon!
