hello all, i'm in a sticky wicket regarding the abandonware Pristine Sounds 2005

hello all- i need help regarding Pristine Sounds 2005, it seems that alienconnections.com is dead and its nominal owner peavey is totally clueless regarding their products or license keys, etc. their forums on Pristine Sounds are also dead. i had to migrate to a newer puter since my old windows 98 machine was on its last legs. on my newer windows 7 machine i could not install my old version of pristine sounds 2000 which ran on the windows 98 machine, so i installed a copy of the updated version for the first time, [Pristine Sounds 2005] only i could not get the new license from alienconnections.com because they are dead. i tried running compatibility mode on windows 7 [for installing PS2000] but to no avail, so my only remaining option is to find a used "key" or whole used PS2005 software CD with key. i need to know where i could find somebody who had such used software they'd be willing to sell me?
you may be wondering why i'm making such a fuss over this, and the answer is that PS2000/2005 does things that no other audio software can do, namely iron out waveform nonlinearities with a configurable "paint brush" that is totally different than the one in adobe audition. thumps and dull pops can be wiped away without upsetting the musical information around them. it also had a very unique reverb algorithm and a unique denoiser. my audio restoration work will suffer by lacking the use of this program. can anybody help me out? thanx in advance for any replies.

thank you it seems i am alone in the wilderness regarding this software, but there is an important update i must post to keep the alien connections people from being mad at me- after about a week i finally did get a response to my emails and the apologetic owner did sent me a license gratis so i will say here that at least in my case Pristine Sounds 2005 is NOT abandonware. but their website [www.alienconnections.com] still does seem to be on auto pilot [forums are closed] and their nominal owner peavey seems to be indifferent.
