Default Hello

My name is Jonathan. I am a law student, and guitar player who has been trying to get into recording and tech for about a year or so. I am still very much a beginner, but I love to search the internet and try and learn tricks and methods. This site seems like a great resource as I try to record my first album.

Hello Jonathan. Welcome to the forum! We don't get may law students around here. I think most of us are better at breaking the law than understanding it. How far along are you in your education?

Default Re: Greetings,

I just joined your community and wanted to say hello. I'm a Protools user with some experience with a number of interfaces. I find the best resource for information regarding your gear, and how it works, or just questions about different techniques applied in the various processes of recording, are the people that are using the stuff!

After poking around on the "Recording Review" site, I have a good feeling about the people that belong and a true willingness to help, and be helped. Not show how much they know and belittle those that don't.

Thanks,

Jim
