I am brand new to this whole thing. I got a Mac Book Pro for picture editing then a friend of mine convinced me I should start recording his band, So now I am interested in learning the whole process.

Well I am looking into a mobile style recording situation. I just really don't know how everything works together. I honestly only have the rudimentry knowledge about audio interfaces and how they are used to record sound. I also really have no idea how to mix or anything like that. So it will be a learning experience.
