I remember bristling at the characterizing of Cheap Trick as "irresistible power pop!" in some review or another decades ago. Still makes my stomach turn.

Welcome. I do like the name, though.

Thanks. The term is thrown around so much I guess it's become a negative with a lot of people, so I get that. I just dig guitar rock with cool melodies/harmonies and big hooks.

Nothing wrong with power pop. Without all the various genres and sub-genres, music would be boring.
