Default Greetings from Indy

Hi, everyone
This is my first post. I have purchased Sonar Studio 8, new computer, usb audio interface (Edirol UA-25EX). I play a pedal steel guitar. Fender Steel King amp, Revelation pre/amp, TC m-one effects unit, bose speakers.

My big problem is, I don't know anything about the "MIDI" file process, and how to get it all working in Sonar. If someone could just give me a start I would sure appericate it. I've read the book, not much help, tutorials not much help.
Thanks Charlie

Where are your midi sounds coming from? Are we talking drums, strings, synths, or all of the above?

You can either pull the sounds from your keyboard, or have a collection of sounds stored on a harddrive that the midi information is triggering.
